Production increase of an existing walking hearth furnace up to 70 ton/h. The existing furnace was of a capacity of 52 ton/h and working dimensions of 12.500 x 9.000 mm. The furnace was extended from the charging side adding new heating zones to achieve the new production rate of 70 ton/h.
